AFC Grinstead vs Keymer & Hassocks

K & H had a misreable day out at AFC Grinstead where they went down 3-0 in the Edgar German Cup.The pitch was a disgrace plus they had to change in the storeoom as the changing room offered was awash with water.Add to that a significant delay whilst rainwater was swept off the pitch and it was no surprise that they had little stomach for the game in which AFCG comprehensively outplayed them and deservedly won by a margin.
Of more concern is the growing injury list-some of which is proving long term such that the playing strength is close to a critical and the next few weeks will be about holding on as best they can hoping that the situation may eventually improve before the Club sinks into the relegation zone.
For the record Ian Smith was our MOM as despite only playing oacassionaly now, he showed has not lost his competitive edge.
