Keymer & Hassocks vs Turners Hill
Division 2

K & H earned a hard fought 2-2 draw in their first ever game in Divison 2 at home to Turners Hill.

They started brightly pushing the visitors back and it was a run by full back Jo Davey who set up Toby Raftery for the opener.TH caught the home side by surprise however with a well struck equaliser from outside the box.

James Harris then went close before he netted the second with a solo effort.

After the break K & H had to defend against the strong swirling wind and responded by pushing up as far as they could,TH were trying to hit them with through balls behind the defence but the wind was causing the ball to run away.

They eventually got their deserved equaliser working the ball into the area where it broke kindly and they made no mistake in taking the chance.K & H tired towards the end as their somewhat fitter opponents kept up a relentless wave of attacks although Raftery could perhaps have won it near the end but his well hit shot went just wide.

K & H MOM goes to Ian Smith for some cultured defending under pressure although keeper Craig Jackson ran him close with some superb kicking.
