Keymer & Hassocks vs West Hoathly
Div 2

K & H recovered from last week’s bruising experience in overcoming West Hoathly 4-2.They started brightly but it was the visitors who went ahead when they caught K & H cold with a fine free kick which was headed firmly home

K & H responded quickly however in like fashion when Ben Watson got on the end of a Toby Raftery corner to record his first success of this kind since 4/11/2006.Raftery then secured the lead when the ball broke to him in the box and he held off a challenge to slide home at the near post.WH came more into the game as the half progressed and keeper Craig Jackson was forced into a save at full stretch to keep them at bay

Jo Davey replaced James Emmens ten minutes into the second half and started to trouble WH with a series of runs at their defence but they held out until some good work by Stuart Thompson put Raftery in for his second.K & H looked comfortable at this point but WH rallied and took advantage of a defensive mix up to pull back to 3-2.The contest was decided when Thompson was brought down in the box and Raftery stepped up to complete his hat-trick
