Felbridge vs Keymer & Hassocks
Div 1

K & H eased to a 3-0 victory at Felbridge on a tricky surface which may the ball bounce unpredictably.

They had a immediate difficulty to overcome as key front man Rob Kift could not be contacted that morning and in the event failed to show up so Toby Raftery despite carrying an injury had to step in but in the event this proved an early bonus as he set up Matt Thomas for a strike which looked to be going wide until James Harris flicked it in with a neat back heel. The early exchanges favoured K & H with Richard Thompson making some telling runs from left back but Felbridge gradually got into the game and it remained 1-0 at half time

K & H struck quickly again after the restart Raftery playing a one two with Stuart Thompson who the coolly curled the ball around the keeper. The goal of the game came from Thompson again this time with a superbly timed run which Ian Parsons read putting him in for another fine finish

Felbridge kept battling to the end and should probably have scored as they opened up K & H’s defence a couple of times but they were unable to hit the target
