Keymer & Hassocks vs Felbridge
Div 1

K & H made the long trip to Felbridge for their final game of the season and continued their habit of losing by a single goal this time 2-1

With lots of absences it was thanks to some second teamers that they were able to field a side which on paper still seemed quite solid and on a rock hard pitch they performed well for the majority of the first half with old warhorse James Harris putting them in front. He was also on hand with two further efforts which could easily have extended the lead. However all went tits up in the space of ten minutes just before half time when some very slack play let Felbridge take over at 2-1

The second half turned into a lousy game with K & H unable to stick two passes together whilst Felbridge resorted to huge punts upfield for their forwards to chase but mostly not catch. As the game became ever more ragged Felbridge had two chances to extend their lead further-keeper Gray Thomas being rounded but their player could only find the side netting and then a more decent effort which hit the crossbar.K & H had a glorious chance at the end when Robbie Kift-making a rare appearance thought he had scored but Andrew Waterman in trying to make sure put the ball wide of the empty net from about a yard out
