Keymer & Hassocks vs Uckfield
Div 1

K & H had an early return fixture against Uckfield in Div 1 and the match saw another appearance by erstwhile retiree Toby Raftery

The early exchanges were quite even although it seemed K & H might be at risk from set pieces the Uckfield side having some tall lads in their ranks and so it proved as they had to be very  aware particularly at corners. However K & H were moving the ball about nicely and did manage to get the ball in the net but it was ruled out for offside and the game stayed level till half time

K & H had more purpose about them in the second half and started to test the keeper who proved to be in good form but he finally succumbed to a Lewis Taylor penalty after Matt Agate appeared to be bought down in the box.Joe Davey who is starting to recover his form of old set up the second with a clever back-heel which put Ian Parsons clear and he drove home in confident fashion.Uckfield had a period of ten minutes when they dominated possession and they were rewarded with a goal from a corner which was well delivered into the area but  K & H should have done better with their defending. That made matters a little tense but the game was soon put beyond doubt as Lewis Taylor found Toby Raftery in space and he had plenty of time  to pick his spot before firing home
